Beale Street entertainment district consists of three blocks of nightclubs, historic restaurants and shops in the heart of Downtown Memphis. These establishments run from the MIssissippi River to East Street spanning approximately 2 miles. Beale St. is a significant location in the history of the city, of blues music, of barbecue and soul food. Beale is considered Tennessee’s top tourism attraction and America’s most iconic street. Although it’s not as large as streets such as Bourbon Street in New Orleans, its presence, patrons and performers have made an immeasurable global impact to food and music culture.
